Organo therapy belongs to the field of natural medicine.  This organo therapy is very controversial from a medical point of view. It focuses on extracts, secretions and other medicines derived from animal sources. These organo therapeutics can be peptides or purified proteins, enzymes or other biochemical substances.

The basic idea is that e.g. the thymus gland plays a major role in the human immune system.
